About these terms
These terms govern your use of this website and set out the basis on which Grandeur Luxury Interiors (the studio) quotes for, makes and delivers furniture and interiors. A signed quotation or commission agreement may add to them or, where it says so, replace them.
By using the site or accepting a quotation you agree to these terms. Please read them; they are written to be read.
Using the site
The site is a gallery of our work and a way to reach us. You may browse it, save pieces to a moodboard and request information for your own use.
You may not copy, scrape or republish its contents, use it to send unsolicited messages, or try to interfere with how it runs.
We aim to keep the site accurate and available. It may still contain errors or be offline for maintenance, and we are not liable for loss arising from either.
Pieces and descriptions
Every piece on the site is made to order unless it is marked in stock. Dimensions, materials and finishes describe the standard version; a bespoke commission may vary them.
Natural materials vary. Veining in stone, figure in timber, the patina of brass and the dye lot of a textile will differ from the photographs and between pieces. This is the nature of the material, not a defect.
No prices are published on the site. Every price is quoted individually.
Quotations
A quotation is valid for 30 days from its date. After that we may revise it to reflect the cost of materials and labour.
Quotations are in Pakistani rupees unless stated otherwise and exclude taxes, duties, delivery and installation unless the quotation lists them.
A quotation becomes an order when you accept it in writing and pay the deposit.
Deposits and payment
A deposit of 50% of the quoted value is due on acceptance. Work does not begin until it is received.
The balance is due before delivery. Pieces remain the property of the studio until paid for in full.
For larger commissions the quotation may set out staged payments instead; where it does, those stages apply.
Bespoke commissions
A bespoke commission follows four stages: consult, concept, craft and install. At the concept stage we present drawings, materials and finishes for your approval.
Once you approve the concept, the piece is made to it. Changes after approval may change the price and the lead time, and we will confirm both in writing before proceeding.
Because a bespoke piece is made for one client and one room, it cannot be returned once made, except where it is faulty.
Lead times
Lead times on the site and in quotations are indicative. They run from the date the deposit and the approved concept are both received.
Materials, customs, weather and the pace of handwork can move a date. We tell you as soon as we know and give a revised date. A delay does not entitle you to cancel unless it exceeds 60 days beyond the revised date.
Delivery and installation
We deliver and install within our service areas in Pakistan and, by arrangement, in the Gulf. Delivery elsewhere is quoted separately.
You are responsible for confirming that the piece will pass through doors, stairs and lifts, and that the room is ready to receive it. Our team will advise; a survey can be arranged.
Please inspect each piece on delivery and note any damage on the delivery record. Damage reported within seven days of delivery is repaired or replaced at our cost.
Risk passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes on full payment.
Cancellations
You may cancel an order in writing at any time. What is refundable depends on how far the work has gone:
- Before the concept is approved: the deposit is refunded less any design fee stated in the quotation.
- After the concept is approved and materials are ordered: the deposit is retained to cover materials and work done.
- After making has begun: the full quoted value remains due.
Pieces marked in stock may be returned within 14 days of delivery in their original condition, at your cost, for a refund less delivery.
Care and warranty
Every piece is made to last. We repair or replace faults in materials or workmanship that appear within two years of delivery, under normal domestic use and with the care we advise.
The warranty does not cover wear, misuse, damage from moving, or changes in natural materials such as fading, movement in timber or patina on metal.
Intellectual property
Every design, drawing, model and specification we produce is ours, including those made for a bespoke commission. Paying for a piece buys the piece, not the right to reproduce it.
You may not make, or have made, copies of our designs, and you may not pass our drawings to another maker.
We may photograph finished work in place, with your permission, and use those photographs to show our work. We never publish an address or a client's name without written consent.
Images
Photographs of our own work and studio belong to the studio. Some imagery on the site is licensed from Unsplash under its licence and is credited where the licence requires it.
Images may not be copied or reused without permission.
Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect loss, such as delay to a wider project, unless it results from our negligence.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute is subject to the courts of the city in which the studio is registered.
We prefer to resolve disagreements in conversation first, and we will always try.
