A high-backed chair in full-grain leather.
Made to order
A wing chair of classic proportion. The back rises to 110 cm. Wings curve inward at the shoulders. Full-grain leather is the standard cover.
The frame is carved American walnut. Springs are hand-tied, 8-way. The leather is aniline-dyed. Brass studs close the outside back.
It belongs beside a fire. It reads as well in a study. It deepens in colour with use.

Materials and finishes
- Full-grain hide, aniline dyed and never sanded. It scars, darkens and improves every year.
- Pennsylvania walnut, chosen for cathedral grain. Oiled, it lightens to a warm honey.
- Solid brass, brushed to a soft satin. Waxed, it mellows slowly toward gold.
