A curved sofa in mohair velvet.
Made to order
A curved sofa with no hard edge. The back sweeps in one arc. Seats are deep and low. Mohair velvet is the standard cover.
The frame is shaped by hand in beech. Springs are hand-tied. Cushions are feather over foam. Walnut feet are hidden beneath the skirt.
It gathers a room round it. It seats 4 with ease. It is made to be sat in for hours.

Materials and finishes
- Angora mohair, woven in Belgium on old looms. The pile flattens where you sit, then recovers.
- Looped wool yarn, woven for depth and warmth. It pills lightly at first, then settles.
- Pennsylvania walnut, chosen for cathedral grain. Oiled, it lightens to a warm honey.
