A deep chair in mohair velvet.

A low, enveloping armchair. The back curves round the sitter. The seat is deep and softly sprung. Mohair velvet is the standard cover.
The frame is kiln-dried beech. Cushions are feather over foam. Legs are turned American walnut with brass ferrules. Upholstery is cut and sewn in-house.
It belongs beside a window or a fire. Two make a quiet corner. One is enough for a bedroom.

Materials and finishes
- Angora mohair, woven in Belgium on old looms. The pile flattens where you sit, then recovers.
- Pennsylvania walnut, chosen for cathedral grain. Oiled, it lightens to a warm honey.
- Solid brass, brushed to a soft satin. Waxed, it mellows slowly toward gold.
